Urgent Care

Superior Urgent Care is an independent walk-in clinic on Gender Rd. in Canal Winchester, open seven days a week for the things that will not wait for a primary care appointment and do not belong in an emergency room. Colds, coughs and flu. Sore throats and strep. Ear and sinus infections. Urinary tract infections. Cuts, scrapes, rashes and skin infections. Strains, sprains and minor injuries. COVID-19 testing. Our providers are certified family nurse practitioners with extensive inpatient and outpatient experience, and they see patients from pediatric through geriatric. We are in network with most insurance carriers and offer flexible self-pay options, and our medical assistants are trained to verify your coverage and explain what you will owe before you are surprised by it. Because we are independent rather than part of a hospital system, the person who sees you is the person who follows up with you. Russian and Ukrainian are spoken in the clinic.

How a Visit Works

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk-ins are welcome every day we are open. If you would rather not wait, you can save your spot online before you come in.

Do you have X-ray on site?

No. We do not perform imaging at the clinic. When you need an X-ray we write the order for a nearby outpatient facility and the results come back to us, so your follow-up still happens here.

What are your hours?

Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 8:00pm. Saturday and Sunday, 9:30am to 5:30pm. Seven days a week.

Do you take my insurance?

We are in network with most carriers, including Anthem BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Medical Mutual, Humana, United Healthcare, CareSource, Molina, Buckeye, MediGold, Tricare, Ohio Medicaid, Ohio Medicare and the VA Community Care Network. We also offer flexible self-pay options. Our medical assistants will verify your coverage and walk you through your copay, coinsurance, deductible and out-of-pocket cost.
